"I don't know." Tabbitha sighed. "I can't think of anywhere free." She mumbled.

Jared blinked, hearing a twig snap. He looked back and spotted Victoria within some trees, and turned to her. "Hello?"

Vespera sighed. "That's fantastic." She said as sarcastically as possible.

"Well I see sarcasm is in your world too. But aside from them, we really don't have that many problems. Sure they cause strife but we learn to live with them. The forest is beautiful and quite peaceful, the village is calm, and the food is prospering."

"Fruit." Vespera said. "Is that all you have?"

"We don't eat meat until the first day of the year. which is 401 days." Tinork said. "So yes, crops are all we eat."

"Our years are only 356 days." Vespera said in response. "That's weird..."

"What is weird in one place is natural to another" Tinork said finishing his melenge. "Now how about I make you a meal."

"Uh... okay?" Vespera raised an eyebrow. "Can we go meet some people afterward?"

"Sure." Tinork said. He grabbed some fruits and a bowl. Then he juiced all the fruits into the bowl. The first fruit was small, palm size, and was orange, but it looked like a lemon. The second one was a greed fruit that looked like a grape but was a lot smaller. The third was a purple fruit that looked like a pear with the texture of an orange. After wards he grabbed another fruit, this one was blue and melon sized but looked smooth. He then cut it in half to show a seed, which he took out to show an empty carcass. Then he scooped up the juice with the carcass and gave it to her. He took the other half for himself and scooped up the rest. Then he drank some and ate a bit of the fruit. "The blend is really outstanding." Tinork smiled.

"It's all so... different." Vespera said, stunned as she watched him.

Victoria stared at him and looked towards the others. "H-Hi."

Sacra looked up at Tabbitha. "Maybe he could stay with me."

Tabbitha nodded. "He could. ...Where did he..." She turned to look at him and spotted Victoria. "Another one?"

"Hi." Jared said. "Are you from... y'know, earth?"

Victoria nodded and looked towards the three of them. "Who are they?"

"People who live here." Jared answered, also looking toward them.

Victoria frowned and looked towards him. "And who are you?"

"Jared Toll." Jared replied. "You?"

"Victoria Darilan." She answered.

"Nice to meet you." Jared made an almost pathetic smile.

Victoria returned an equally pathetic smile and sighed. "I think I got chased by someone here. I just freaked out and ran though..."

"Did they look inhuman?" Tabbitha asked instantly, having been listening to them.

"Hey, you wanted to meet people right. We can walk and talk with these." Tinork said opening the kitchen door for her.

"Oh... m'kay." Vespera walked out after he opened the door, nodding her thanks. She took a tentative bite and blinked several times. Wow...!

"It is the first reaction that is the best." Tinork said. "But don't call me a prodigy, I learned this from another." He said reaching for the entrance.

"I could almost live on this... though you do, don't you...?"

"It is something I have often, but I do like to change it a little and eat something a little different now and then." Tinork said opening the door for her. "One thing that you can do though is..." he started to say. He grabbed a piece of fruit, broke it off of the fruit, dipped it in the juice, and then ate it with the juice. "But that is the same thing as eating the bottom of the fruit."

"Yeah, I'll skip on that. I've never really been one to... dip things." Vespera grinned. And she thought they had already walked out, lawl. But she walked out anyway. XP
