Selene smiled again and rested her head on his shoulder. "I'm getting a little hungry."

Melvin looked over at her and caught the knife before it fell [into his foot]. "Are you ready to go?"

"You have. You've done what you could and that's what matters. Look at yourself. You took that for her. It's like when we were trying to convince Zack that he had protected Freia. He had, but he didn't want to believe it either."

"Gracie!" Travis exclaimed instantly, grinning with his new nickname for her.

Charlie raced back in the direction of the hospital wing once again.

Zerlina nodded faintly, unable to speak.

Dylan shook his head, not speaking now.

Selene blinked and laughed slightly.

Grace looked up and looked towards their curtain, scowling. 'I might hit him with one of those books.' She finished the last of Morrigan's bandages before leaving, going over to them. She pulled it aside and grumbled, "What is it?"

Melvin nodded and walked towards the door.

Kendra left her hand on his shoulder, looking at Acacia again.

Travis said, "Can I take Selene to get something to eat?" He smiled innocently.

Charlie walked inside and over to Morrigan's bed quickly. He looked down at her, frowning sorrowfully.

Zerlina followed him, taking deep breaths.

Dylan pulled away eventually.

Selene looked up at her with the same smile. She stared at the two and sighed. "Yes, just bring her back afterward."

Morrigan didn't look up when he came in, keeping her head turned away from him.

Melvin unlocked the door and walked out, looking back at her again.

Kendra sighed, but made no move to do anything else.

Travis grinned. "Thanks, Gracie." He turned and lifted Selene into his arms.

"I'm so sorry, Morrigan." Charlie whispered, kneeling next to her.

Zerlina continued to look to the side, her arms folded over her chest.

Dylan didn't move after that, frowned at himself now.

Grace scowled and turned away. "Did you like those books?" She asked, hoping for a topic change.

"You said once that it'd be safe." She said in a low mutter.

Melvin sighed and kept walking.

Kendra looked back at Duncan.

Travis stared at her. He went and took the book that had cursed him, giving it back to her. "Not that one."

Charlie nodded. "I know. I know." He rested his head on hers, shutting his eyes tightly.

Zerlina continued walking after him. "That's it, right?" She asked quietly.

Duncan looked back at her and at Dylan.

Grace smirked and held it out to him. "This is one of the most important ones."

Morrigan mumbled and pulled away from him, still not looking at him.

"For now." Melvin said. "Darius is next."

Kendra looked back at Dylan as well, sighing quietly.

Travis shook his head. "I don't care."

Charlie frowned, hurt. He remained where he was, doing nothing.

"What happens to him?" Zerlina questioned.

"Leave, please," Dylan muttered.

Grace smirked. "The writing is informative."

Morrigan rested her hand on her stomach, wincing slightly from pain. 'He has no idea what's happened.'

Melvin smirked. "I'm not all together sure yet. I'm sure I'll think of something by the time we're back."

Kendra sighed heavily and looked down at Acacia again. She went forward and readjusted the blanket they had over her a little before looking over at Duncan wordlessly.

"No," Travis said firmly.

Charlie looked at her hand and at the cuts through her shirt, and sighed again. He said nothing, unable to find anything to say.

Zerlina frowned worriedly, holding a hand over her scars.

Duncan looked at Dylan again but turned and started heading over towards the door.

"Fine, fine." Grace said.

Morrigan waited a few moments before moving her hand to his, taking it. 'No matter how much I'm angry at him, I don't want to be alone here.'

Melvin's skipping time-consuming posts and arriving at the base. He went inside and looked back at her to make sure she was coming.

Kendra lollimped after him.

Travis watched her intently before turning and picking Selene up.

Charlie looked down at her and squeezed her hand gently.

Zerlina was already turning, heading toward the elevator quickly.

Duncan looked back. "Want me to carry you?"

Selene laughed slightly at them and hugged his neck.

Morrigan sighed and squeezed his hand gently.

Melvin followed after her quickly.

"That's up to you." Kendra said, walking to stand next to him.

Travis carried her past Grace and out from behind the curtain. He spotted Kendra and Duncan and tilted his head.

Charlie frowned. "Please forgive me..." He pleaded.

Zerlina reached the elevator and went inside, pressing the button for the third floor and trusting him to get into the elevator in time on his own.

Duncan smirked and scooped her into his arms and walking out.

Selene looked towards them and looked up at Travis.

Morrigan looked over to him and frowned. She didn't say anything, just watching him.

Melvin smirked and stepped in after her, looking down at her.

Kendra put her arms around his neck, smirking a bit smugly.

"They're just a strange sight..." Travis mumbled, shaking his head. He walked out after them.

Charlie looked down at the bed, taking a deep breath. "I don't blame you." He mumbled.

Zerlina was looking away from him again, her arms crossed over her chest once more.

Duncan smiled down at her.

"So are we."

Morrigan frowned and looked away from him.

Melvin stepped out when it reached the floor and went towards Darius' room.

"So where are we going?"

Travis shrugged a bit. "I suppose." He smirked. "That makes us unique."

Charlie didn't respond this time, thinking to himself.

Zerlina immediately went to the office and went in, closing the door.

"Wherever you want."

Morrigan looked towards the wall.

Melvin knocked on Darius' door, who opened it after a moment. He had changed clothes; he had a pair of already dirty jeans and a ratty t-shirt. "I don't think you'll stop amusing me." Melvin said with a low laugh. He turned towards the elevator and went towards it. Darius sighed and followed after him.

When they both stepped in, Melvin looked down at him. "Your girl is resilient. She'll be good if she ever gets over that damn 'killing is bad' thing of her's." Darius said nothing as he was lead out by Melvin. They both headed for the cells; Melvin stopping at a empty one. Darius stepped in and turned to Melvin, but was immediately punched in the face. Darius stumbled back and growled at him, but Melvin followed up by punching him as hand as he could in the stomach. Darius yelled and collapsed onto the floor, but Melvin smirked down at him. "Not even you are this pathetic, Darius. Get up and face what's coming."

"I wonder if Dylan's even had anything to eat... I haven't."

Darius scowled angrily and struggled up, only to be kicked into a wall by Melvin. Melvin took the knife from earlier out and stabbed it into one of Darius' arms. He twisted it slowly before pulling it out, letting the blood drip down to the floor. Darius made a face, trying to mask the pain, but made no mutter. "Do you know why you're here?"

"Something about last night, right?"

"That, but Fortune said you haven't been taking that dame out."

Charlie shook his head. "Three other Soul Searchers were out, attacking people right and left. We were trying to stop them. They got away anyway. About four people just about died..."

"I'm afraid that he might shove it in my face."
