Duncan scowled back at her. "What was I supposed to do then? Drag him to a house like some gay rapist and then do it?"

Selene followed beside him happily, looking around again.

Freia shrugged. "I think we should go back with them. There might be more..."

"...Yeah." Kendra nodded. "As long as you wouldn't do that."

Travis said, "Ideas?"

"Maybe, they can catch up though."

Duncan shuddered. "Ew." He shook his head. "No, she's probably going to grow up seeing this shit anyway, might as well get started now." He mumbled.

"For what?"

Freia got ready to reply, but looked back at them after hearing Duncan speak and simply stared.

"She's only ten, and she doesn't need to see it from you!" Kendra said firmly.

"Where to go to find it?"

Zack looked back at as well, glaring almost at Duncan.

Duncan, not noticing either of them, growled, "She needs to start growing up then! The world's gotten worse if you haven't noticed and she needs to toughen up."

"Nope."

Freia stepped back, almost looking as if she had been slapped. She squeezed Zack's hand tightly and said weakly, "L-Let's go..."

Kendra glared at him angrily and glanced to the side, and went pale when she spotted Freia and Zack. She looked back at Duncan in shock.

"...Then pick a direction. Just pick one."

Zack looked back at her now, frowning worriedly, but said nothing. He turned again and started walking.

Duncan looked over and stared at them. His gaze saddened, realizing what he had said, before he looked away, looking guilty now. He said nothing more, not thinking it fitting too.

Selene pointed down the hall. "That way then."

Freia walked beside him, not looking back at them.

Kendra frowned at his expressionn and stepped closer to him after a moment. "Just wait for a little while and go apologize." She mumbled.

Travis nodded and started heading down the hallway she had pointed toward.

Zack frowned and squeezed her hand lightly, watching her.

Duncan mumbled and shook his head. "I shouldn't have said that," he said quickly. "I don't know what got into me."

Selene followed beside him and smiled lightly.

Freia looked at him fleetingly but her gaze returned to the ground quickly.

Kendra shook her head. "I don't either." She took his hand. "Let's go."

Zack frowned again and stopped, hugging her tightly. "I'm sure he didn't mean it," he said softly.

Duncan looked down at her hand but said nothing else.

Freia hugged him back tightly. "His face said otherwise."

"Come on." Kendra said and began to pull him along, fighting back a limp.

Travis reached some double doors and went to the window, glancing inside. He looked back at Selene. "See why I listen to you?" He smirked and pushed the door open, holding it open for her.

Zack frowned and sighed. "I'm sorry."

Duncan followed her, noticing it. "Do you want me to carry you?" He asked quietly.

Selene smirked and stepped inside, looking around quietly.

Freia sighed and pulled away, continuing to walk.

Kendra looked back at him. "It's not like I can stop you if you want to."

Travis looked around and spotted Autumn sparring with someone else. She glanced over when they came in and Travis easily noticed the tense of her nerves as she observed them both. The hesitation earned her a punch in the stomach and she fell backward onto the floor. She frowned and placed a hand over her stomach, standing up and looking away from them. Travis looked back at Selene.

Zack frowned and followed her again.

Selene scowled darkly towards her and crossed her arms, looking around elsewhere in the training room.

Freia reached a door and walked inside quickly, not speaking.

Travis looked at Selene silently for a few moments. He smirked and winked at her before starting to go over to Autumn. "Tessary," He called incredulously. She stopped what she was doing and glared at him as he approached her. "How is everything?"

"Fine when you aren't here." Autumn growled lowly.

"Oh, come on. I just want to have a conversation." He soothed her. She glared at him coldly and looked at the person who she had been sparring with, who simply raised an eyebrow at her. He smiled at her as the other man walked away. "So, your boyfriend..." He watched her stiffen. He said with sincerity, "I hope that the problem we had when we met wasn't actually his."

She began to tremble in anger, simply glaring at him.

Zack followed her quietly, frowning still.

Duncan sighed and lifted her up, careful of his own leg now. He started walking the direction Freia and Zack went, saying nothing.

Selene blinked after him and scowled again. She stayed where she was, watching them but not hearing the conversation.

Freia closed her eyes and slowed down to let him lead.

"Do you really like carrying me so much you're going to make your own leg worse because of it?"

"It was?" Travis asked, gaping at her. "I'm so sorry." He said, almost sounding sincere though there was still the taunting edge. "At least you wouldn't have to be reminded of him all the time..."

"I have you for that!" She hissed angrily, and took out two knives she had gotten when she'd got back from the Soul Searcher base. "And I'm going to end it here!"

Travis held up both hands, glancing in Selene's direction. "Let's just take it easy."

Zack sighed and started to head back to their room with her.

Duncan shook his head. "I do, but I don't want you in pain."

Selene went towards her quickly, taking out one of her own knifes with a cold glare. "Don't you dare attack him." She growled lowly.

Freia followed him silently, taking a deep breath.

Kendra rested against him with a sigh.

Autumn stared at her and growled angrily, with tears in her eyes. "If only you weren't blind and deaf to what he says!" She said angrily. "Not that you'd care, since you killed him."

Travis said nothing, watching them with masked amusement.

Zack frowned but stayed silent, unsure of what to say.

Duncan looked down at her and looked ahead again.

Selene smirked slightly. "I don't really, no."

Freia didn't have anything to say either, sighing heavily.

Kendra reached up and put a hand on his cheek. "Just go apologize whenever you get me to... where you want me." She made a face.

Autumn growled and ran at her, but Travis went forward and grabbed her arms. He whispered into her ear, "That promise I made to you is still valid." He let her go and watched her back away from him, shutting her eyes.

Zack stopped outside of their room and looked at her. "Do you want me to go?"

Selene scowled angrily at Travis. "This is what I meant earlier." She growled lowly.

"No, stay." Freia said instantly.
