"He'll sure as hell try." Kendra mumbled desolately.

"Nice." Daniel complimented and sent a wry glance in Callum's direction. He looked back at Nicolas. "What now?"

"I am too sitting down."

"In the other wings is where prisoners and the leaders rooms."

"He's not going to hurt you."

"We can do what we want, but we have to be careful about it, they know I've gone."

"But you're arguing."

"Mhm..." Leo said, following along with what she was saying.

"How do you know?" Kendra mumbled coldly.

---

"Do you have something in particular to do? I have a few things to do..." Daniel mumbled.

Callum snorted, glancing sideways at Daniel. "That's hard to believe."

"Because you started this."

Grace looked back at him.

Acacia didn't answer, looking away now.

"I want to look into something before we leave. Either of you are free to go, though."

"Then I'm done arguing." The Elder said.

Leo glanced at her.

"Thought so." Kendra mumbled, returning to glancing around.

Daniel frowned slightly. "I wonder if anything's going on that would distract a lot of people soon..." He mumbled to himself, turning and looking down the hall.

Duncan snorted and laid back, staring at the ceiling. "Bored," he mumbled.

Grace looked ahead again. "There's training areas too."

Acacia frowned and sighed.

---

"They might be leaving for those people they mentioned."

The Elder looked over at the projection of Selene.

"Oh, good." Leo said, actually sounding a bit relieved.

Kendra has nothing to say plz.

---

Daniel sneered after a moment. "Good." He said, glancing back at them.

Selene was contemplating whether or not to kick Duncan again. She stayed still for the moment.

"Hm?" She looked back at him.

Acacia doesn't eeeither

"Should we split up again? We'd need somewhere to meet I think back here's a good place. It's large from what I've gathered, and they're less likely to find us here."

The Elder tilted his head and glanced off to the side.

"The Soul Searchers didn't have much of a training area."

---

"Sure." Daniel agreed.

"Everyone in this base," Charlie's voice announced over the base intercom, "One of the Soul Searchers has broken free. We believe he's gone to release the other two, so three Soul Searchers may be on the loose. Please, go to your rooms and stay in there, or go somewhere else you find safe. Do not try to fight them for the moment.

"Also, tonight we are leaving to go rescue Leliana, Autumn, and Duncan. Those who wish to accompany us will please proceed to the auditorium, armed." The message ended.

Duncan frowned. "What is it?"

"Oh, I wonder why."

Nicolas looked up at the sound of the message and smirked. "As I thought."

"Nothing."

"They didn't think it was necessary."

Daniel grinned. I wonder if Acacia or Kendra are going. Hope not...

"Tell me anyway?"

"He's not going too," Selene piped up.

"... Shut up."

"Huh." Grace muttered. "But they'd need some way to always get better."

Nicolas looked at Daniel and Callum. "Do what you want, but try not to be too rash. We'll meet back soon."

"I'm really not sure what it was."

"They don't think so."

Daniel nodded and turned, starting to go down the hall.

"You forgot?"

"I told you."

"Seriously, shut up now." Duncan growled over to Selene. She led up her hands innocently.

"That's not really surprising," she said with a small grin.

Callum stood for a brief moment of contemplation before turning to follow/pester Daniel some more.

"I'm thinking about whatever you're thinking about." The Elder said truthfully.

Daniel glanced back to see Callum and leered a bit, but continued to walk.

"Kendra?" He questioned.

"There's also storage rooms and weapon depots if you ever need anything." Grace said, looking ahead again.

"I am you at the time and moment, so yes."

Leo nodded. "Alright."

"She'll hate me." He muttered.

"There's not much else, other than rooms that everyone stays in."

Selene was watching Travis quietly, frowning and looking over towards the door. "Travis," she muttered quietly.

"I don't think it'll be so much hate as it will be just a cold shoulder for a while."

"Oh, I see." Leo nodded at her. "Thank you, then." He said, his voice genuine.

Travis had stood up to go to the door, and stopped to look back at her. "Selene, this is a chance to get back at Fortune." He said quietly.

"Are you sure?"

"You're welcome." She said with a small smile.

"Please, don't go. They said that he was o-out now," she said, noticing how hoarse she sounded.

The Elder nodded. "It's what you think."

Leo suddenly threw an arm over her shoulder. "Yep. Definitely."

"He won't be able to get to you. Lock the door." Travis said quietly. "It's okay."

Duncan stared at him and looked at the ceiling. "I think she'll hate me."

Grace looked at his arm and nervously moved away from him. "If there's anything else you need I'll be at the hospital," she muttered, going down the hall quickly.

"He'll get in! He knows how." Selene protested, going over to him. "I need you here, please..."

"She might." The Elder said, seeming to have a sudden change of mind.

Leo scowled after her. "Fine then." He mumbled.

Travis frowned. "It's alright, Selene." He whispered. He kissed her gently. "Trust me."
