Death Note: Rewrite

Rylan frowned for a second, dejected, but it returned to his earlier grin. He didn't advance upon her again. "Wive's tale?" He suggested.

"So to speak, we just need to keep at it. I doubt this game with K with last long."

"Not with my eyes." Rylan grinned and made his eyes activate so he could see the red-rimmed edges.

Lily grinned and nodded. 'Those eyes are my advantage against K. She knows nothing on them or about them, or aware f the fact of that there is a second Mori. We have to use this to the fullest.'

He suddenly leaned close to her without even being subtle, pinning her to the wall. Still using the Shinigami eyes, he grinned and they suddenly glinted. "K will die." He promised.

Lily looked up at him and stared for a moment before smiling wickedly. "Shall we start her waltz of death?"

"As far as I'm concerned, it's already begin." Rylan smiled back at her.

Rylan leaned back to free her, but suddenly leaned in and kissed her on the forehead with a cheating smirk. He turned and stepped away from her, going to his desk and picking up his Death Note again.

"I'm Carlos Dominicas. I've been stationed here due to a high importance case. Is this what the meeting is about?" Carlos said a little nervous but still keeping his cool

"Welcome, Carlos Dominicas." Kate greeted personally through the laptop. "You have just entered a briefing about the Mori case. We are discussing the murder patterns at the moment." She stated, watching him.

Lily blinked and scowled at his back angrily for just a moment. 'I can't make him angry, I will need his eyes...'

Rylan glanced over his shoulder at her. "Well, it might be for the best if you go now. I found a restaurant though where we could discuss what the other needs to do. I'm figuring we're really going to need to know." He frowned a bit. "There's tables in the back that could hide us pretty well. The only person who'd know we were there would be the waitress. I used to work there, so I could snag the table." He explained.

Lily nodded slowly, seeming a tad hesitant. "Where is it, we can't meet too often or it might seem like something's up."

"I know. I just figured once every few weeks. It's on the corner, when you're headed to the supermarket. There's that faggot Mexican restaurant and then the one I'm talking about is next to it." Rylan said.

"Mm, alright," she said in understanding. "What did you have planned for today?"

Rylan shrugged. "Honestly nothing. I make it a point to be lazy as hell on my days off."

Lily grinned slightly and went towards his door. "We'll have to wait before we do much of anything," she muttered. "I'm sure I'll be seeing you soon."

"Try for six o'clock." Rylan said and smiled a bit.

"I see. What do we have so far?" Carlos said sitting down.

"Tonight?"

Russel stood up and went over to Carlos. On the way, he scribbled down something on a notepad before tearing off a piece of paper and handing it to him. "It has the number [... lets go with 130] of victims that Mori has killed so far, as well as what crimes they've committed. He has just killed 25 more people."

Rylan nodded.

Kate stayed silent for now, waiting for everything to get back into order.

"Okay, and all of them are dieing of heart attack, I'm assuming?" Carlos said.

"Alright," she said before walking out.
