Happy Birthday To Wolfie/LS5

I know I'm the only one reading this but I think that I should give some sort of gift this year, even if it goes unnoticed. Now I'm no artist so I can't give you picture but I could write a poem. Any other gifts can be posted here.

The Wishing ring

They say that there is a ring
a ring that everyone will get
When they are 15 or 16
(Although it matters not)

"This ring does a great thing"
My mother said rubbing her ring
then she laid my ring on the table
and passed it to me with a smile

"Dont be foolish with it now"
My father father said with a chuckle
"You can only use it once in your life
so don't be using it too soon"

I put on my ring with a smile
It glowed with a luster of the finest gold
Then I looked at my parent's ring
But I saw no glow but a shade of grey

I looked to them with a puzzled face
and the question needed to be answered
So I asked them with a curious expresion
"Why does mine glow but yours don't"

My mom walked over to me and smiled
"Because we used our wish already
The grey means it's used up" she sighed
"So now we keep it as a memory of what we did"

That answered one question but another came to mind
"What was it that you wished for then"
The mother smiled and looked at her ring
"I wished that I could find the man of my dreams"

I smiled and looked to my dad
he knew what I wanted and looked toward his ring
then he smiled to me, took a deep breath and said
"This ring, is how I met your mother"

"Now remember what you can do"
she said with a graceful smile
"You can wish for anything you want but just one
So be careful what you wish for because it's only one"

Now here I give you a wishing ring
It has the same properties as all the others
and you can only use it once
so use it wisely and don't forget to have a Happy Birthday
