WolfQuest is an online multimedia roleplaying game created by the Minnesota Zoo. You play as a wolf (which you get to customize, color and all) in the setting of Amethyst Mountain in Yellowstone National Park. Single player allows you to find a mate, hunt elk (not a good idea in single player mode), hunt rabbits, and provoke grizzly bears. You can also meet wolves from rival packs and find a mate.
In multiplayer mode, you can create a pack or join a pack with other people connected to the internet and chat with them. This is really where you can hunt elk, since if you do receive any injury, you can sit back like a lazy bum and let your packmates do all the work. Haha.
Example of hunting elk in single-player mode and multiplayer mode. Now I found this a couple months ago and downloaded it. It's free but yes, you have to download it and have an internet connection if you want to go on Multiplayer mode. I really enjoyed it so I mentioned it to Wolfdra and she tried it. She likes it as well. I would really recommend this to anyone who's bored and loves wolves. You can't do much in this level, but
later this year (in August) episode 2 will come out, where you can raise pups. You have to have a mate already in episode 1 though.
A screenshot of a pup from the upcoming episode. It is actually quite fun. Here I have a log where I (Anette) and two other people I didn't know were playing a game of tag. (I forgot the third's name so we'll just call her Jaz. XD)
[Anette] ASH STOP SO I CAN TAG YOU.
[Ash] I'll give you 5 seconds
[Anette] STOP RUNNING THAT WAS NOT 5 SECONDS
[Jaz] She's going to win... again.
Player Ash has been killed by a grizzly bear.[Anette] ...
[Anette] Ash
[Anette] Ash I won
[Ash] I KNOW, ANETTE.
Whoo... good times. To download or join the forum, visit
