Of course video games are art. What is the definition of art? According to Dictionary.com: the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance. Video games have very beautiful scenes, aspects, storylines, et cetera within them. Moreso, they hold a lot of symbolism for our own world. They cannot be anything but a model of one's imagination, as is a painting. So how could one differentiate between them?
